Thomas Joseph Feeney III
Fort Myers – Thomas Joseph “Joe” Feeney III, 65, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on July 22, 2024. He was born to the late Mary Jane Staley and Thomas J Feeney, Jr. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carin; his daughter, Caley, of Fort Collins, Colorado; his son Thomas Joseph Feeney IV (TJ); and his youngest son Jack, both of Fort Myers, Florida. He also leaves behind 4 sisters – Sue Roseman of New Castle, Colorado; Kathy (David) Teichert of Jacksonville, Florida; Maggie (Todd) Ellis of Alachua, Florida; Christine Emery of Gainesville, Florida; his brother John (Gretchen) Feeney of Green Lake, Wisconsin; along with 16 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and close friends. Joe’s family was his pride and joy.
A man of many passions, Joe found immense joy in playing racquetball, fishing, boating, golfing, and cheering on his beloved Miami Dolphins. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, his laugh was loud and contagious and he lived each day with a vibrant spirit and a giving heart. Joe’s impact on those around him was profound, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Joe will be remembered for his boundless energy, his unwavering love for his family, his devotion to Christ and his zest for life. He touched many lives, and his legacy of joy and passion will continue to inspire all who knew him. A funeral mass will be held at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord on August 3rd at 11:00am. There will be a private reception for family and close friends following.
