At the age of 57 Thomas passed away in Wildwood, Florida.  He will be missed.  Private family services will be held at a later date in Iowa.

    Our hearts and prayers to the Bentler family. We thought the world of Tom. The enthusiasm he had for anything he was involved with was legendary. I have thought of Tom often and he will be missed. We pray you have found Peace brother.

    What a terrible surprise. I remember Tom well from high school. He befriended this lowly freshman which made that potentially difficult time much more pleasant. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family.
