Obituary

Tom (Thomas) Mark Mazzarini , 66 of Ocala, Florida,  passed away suddenly on September 24, 2024 .

Tom was born in Waltham , Massachusetts  on January 8, 1958  to the late Marie (LeLievre) and John Mazzarini. Tom graduated from Waltham High School in 1976 then received his undergraduate degree in 1980 for accounting and his Masters degree in 1988 from Bentley University with a Masters of Science in Finance.

Tom married his life-long partner and soul mate of 27 years Annette V. MacLean on July 1st, 2006.

Before his retirement Tom spent 30 years self-employed.  He built a consulting business that allowed him to do what he loved most, working with small business in all aspects of Finance. His work ethic and personality lead to long term successful business relationships.

Tom is survived by his sister Donna Veilleux and her husband Paul of Walpole, MA., his brother  John “Butch” and his wife Jo-Ann of Pennsylvania., his sister Patricia Carvelli and her husband Paul of Maine., his brother Michael of Foxboro, MA., his brother William and his wife Denise of West Townsend, MA., his sister Paula Riscolo and her husband Anthony of Waltham, MA.  His beloved mother in law Martha MacLean of Somerville, MA., his sister in law Margaret Zahlaway and her husband Al of Boston, MA, brother in law John MacLean and his wife Kim of Plattsburgh, NY, sister in law Jean Corkhum  of Nashua, NH, brother in law Paul MacLean and his wife Patti of Medford, MA, sister in law Maureen Biondo and her husband Michael of Wilmington, MA.

Tom will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.   He shared so many wonderful moments with each of them. He also leaves behind his beloved niece and goddaughter, Stephanie Mazzarini of Waltham.  Tom and Annette became guardians for Stephanie after the passing of her parents Stephen and his wife Janet.

In 2022 Tom made his dream of retiring to a golf course community a reality and moved into his new home in On Top of the World, Ocala, FL.   He will be missed by all his OTOW friends.  If you were a neighbor or if his beloved New England Patriots were playing your team, rest assured you’d be getting an invite and menu of what was being served for Sunday’s game.  Tom treated every Sunday like Super Bowl Sunday.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stephen and his wife Janet (Daly) of Waltham, MA.
