Celebration of Life for Thomas R Newman, 70, New Smyrna Beach who died Friday, February 27, 2009 will be 7:00 PM Wednesday at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Service New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 PM until service time.
Tom was born in Augusta, Georgia. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Later he worked for many years at Central Florida Lincoln Mercury and Orange Buick in Orlando. He was a member of American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Bahia Shrine Center Orlando. Tom enjoyed fishing, the beach, his wife and his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Norma, children Thomas “Butch” (Lyssette) Newman, Jr, Patti Howell both of Apopka, Pamela Theiss of Lake Mary, Brenda (Bill) Wallace of DeBary, siblings Ralph (Jackie) Newman of Augusta, GA, Jack (Tanya) Newman of Martinez, GA, Ann (Jack) Collins of Augusta, GA, Peggy (Jim) Champion of Martinez, GA, Marian Price and Mary Ivey of Augusta, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
