Obituary

Thomas “Tom” Anthony Wagner, 81, of Mount Dora, FL passed away suddenly from a massive stroke on January 12, 2020.  He was born in Antigo, WI on September 29, 1938 to Elma and Anthony Wagner.

Tom worked for ARA Services for 20 years. He owned and operated and RV Park in Mosinee, WI for 5 years.

Over the years he had several homes built where he did a lot of the work on his own. Tom would buy and sell houses putting his skills of Electrical, Carpentry, and Handyman work to good use. Tom also crafted duck and bird houses.  He liked gardening and yardwork, often finding clippings to see if he could get them to grow.

Tom and Linda moved to Lake County, FL in 1999. They spent time in Dillard, GA and Otto, NC where they had a summer home. They were able to cross off several items on their bucket list. They attended Nascar races in Charlotte, Daytona 500, and the Indy 500.  They sailed to Catalina and flew over Catalina at Sunset.  They explored Alaska on a cruise as well as the Caribbean.  Tom was proud of his 2 Ziplining adventures in Highland, NC.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carole Wagner.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda; 2 sisters Kaye (Larry) Aiken of LaQuinta, CA and Darlene Koprek of Eagle River, WI; nieces Kelly and Dawn; nephew Kevin; and the love of his life, his dog, Miss Bailey.

Tom Cat used up his 9 lives.  He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Tom you will be greatly missed, you were always such a jokester, I remember when Dawn and I were little girls you gave us Monique’s doggie biscuits and told us they were cookies, which we didn’t get a chance to eat because you stopped us before eating them. Only one of the many, many cherished memories I remember. I love you, until we meet again
