Obituary

Tina Marie Maruca (56), loving Mother and Noni, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 after a year long battle with cancer.
Tina was born on January 3rd, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She was married to Stephen J. Maruca for 30 years. She is survived by her daughter Ariana and husband Eric Burkowske, her grandson Asher, her father Frank Sr. and wife Ginger Licolli, and her brother Frank Jr. and wife Karina Licolli and their children Olivia, Draven, Nicolas, and Luciana.

She was proceeded in death by her mother and best friend Arlene Shriver, and her grandmother Marie Mendicino.

She served her family, her church, and any of God’s creatures that crossed her path with compassion and love. We would like to extend our thanks to Estelle’s House with Hospice of Marion County for treating Tina with such tender care. She will be loved forever and missed until we meet again.

Tina’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 11:30am located at Central Christian Church (3010 NE 14th St. Ocala, FL 34470). Flowers can be sent no earlier than Friday, November 19th, 2021.

    My beautiful best friend. You always, always made me laugh. You were always there for me. Even many miles away. We were supposed to retire together. Two crazy old ladies under the palm trees. You were such a beautiful kind soul. I am so grateful to have been lucky enough to be your friend. When Autumn comes, the leaves change and butterflies visit, I will smile and always think of you.     My dear sister you will truly be missed. Whenever me and you got together we would laugh talk about old times and get annoyingly loud which I love. You are a wonderful sister and unfortunately our time here together got short although we didn’t get to see each other all the time didn’t matter because when we got together it was a blast. I love you more than words could ever say for 53 years you’ve been a part of my life and your memories will forever live on and I will continue to smile in the memory of what a beautiful person you were. Until we meet again in heaven I love you I miss you give mom and grandmom a big hug and kiss for me.❤️❤️❤️❤️
