"As a child growing up on a farm in Ohio, and an avid reader of National Geographic, I wondered what I would do as a grown up. Well, the answer was on the pages of that magazine. I wanted to do everything and go everywhere. I covered half the planet as a sailor and travel photographer/film maker. I have had lots of money and had none. Had a fabulous job at 20th Century-Fox in Hollywood and a crazy job harvesting corn for the Jolly Green Giant. Loved them both and everything in between. I have flown a Cessna 150 and a F1-11 Phantom fighter jet (for just a minute). I am on a waiting list for a seat on a Virgin Galactic space flight in 2014. I got a golden E-Ticket when I was born, and it is now so worn and tattered that you can hardly read it. But it is still good for one lifetime, my holiday on planet earth."
