I didn’t know Tom, but he always seemed like the kind of guy I would really like to meet and hang out with. I stumbled across his YouTube channel awhile back and subscribed after watching just one video and always looked forward to whatever Tom happened to share with us out here. I greatly enjoyed his authenticity and never-ending enthusiasm. I’m just a 42 year old family man who likes to cook and the sense of loss I feel at this unexpected news is poignant. I guess that’s a testament to the type of person he must have been in real life. Tom, you will be missed. Thank you for taking the time to share yourself with those of us lucky enough to find your channel. My thoughts are with all your family and friends.

I'm so saddened to find out Tom had passed away. I personally didn't know him but I was a follower on his YOUTUBE channel for almost 2 years. I just found out today he passed away. Like so many other followers on his YOUTUBE channel we were very concerned where Tom and Kay have been . Watching his videos he would give all his followers a chuckle from time to time and make us smile no matter what he was cooking. He was one in a million and will be sorely missed. Tom thank you for all of your videos and being such a kind soul. My thought and prayers are with his family and friends. Heaven gained a very special angel.

Tom was indeed my closest friend and we spent many hours together both on and off the water. He was always willing to lend a hand and a smile, and he often did. It’s hard to find words that are good enough to express my memories of Tom. There are so many. I remember the first day we met and I remember the last time I saw him, and everything in between. I knew him as a man of integrity, with strong beliefs and a dedication to his wife that was ferocious. A hard working man who always had time for a laugh or to make a new friend.
Tom, my friend, you will always be remembered as a true man, the greatest of friends and a pretty good fisherman!! RIP
