Treva grew up in Carmel, Indiana, but moved to Crown Point, Indiana, her junior year of high school. She maintained meaningful, lifelong relationships with friends she made during her youth. She moved to Florida in 1986 and made Cape Coral her home 20 years ago. Treva worked for more than 40 years in the healthcare industry; most recently as an office administrator at GenesisCare in Cape Coral.
Treva was well respected for her tenacious attitude and strong work ethic. Fondly called Babe, Honey, Mom, G-ma, Weeva, and Booby-Bird by those who loved her, Treva will be remembered for so many reasons including her amazing cooking, her dry wit, her beautiful green eyes, and most of all her big heart. Treva will remain in our hearts forever.
Treva’s family includes her husband, Norman Mills, children Chad Robert Sullivan, Brian Eugene Freche, Kristyn Lee Freche (predeceased), and Alyssa Jordan Wilson. Grandchildren include Aaliyah Shontel Hunter. Treva’s siblings include Rhonda Jean Hollinger and Linda Joetta Thomas and brothers-in-law Dennis Carl Hollinger (predeceased) and Kirk Alan Thomas. Treva’s stepchildren include Marcy Mills, Margo Potter, Brian Mills and Darren Mills. Treva had nine step grandchildren.
A Celebration of Treva’s Life will be held in Cape Coral in March, 2023. More information to come at a later date. The family has asked that donations to Hope Hospice be made in lieu of flowers. Thank you.
