Trevor Rea Seedarnee, 35, of DeLand, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 after a difficult battle with stomach cancer. He was born in Plantation, FL to Betsy and Frank Seedarnee and was the proud father to his 6-year-old daughter, Leya.
Trevor was known for his sense of humor, outgoing personality and positive spirit. He lived in the moment and had the unique ability to make everyone laugh, becoming friends with almost anyone he met. Trevor graduated from Deltona High School in 2003 and received his Networking Associate’s degree from Florida Technical College in 2011. He worked as an Information Technology support specialist and was known to help friends by fixing their phones and computers. His love for technology and video games made him a self-proclaimed nerd, something which he quickly passed on to his daughter. Becoming a father was the greatest thing in the world to him, as he shared his love for video games, martial arts, dressing up for Comic Con, food and cooking with his little girl.
He is survived by his daughter, Kataleya Seedarnee (Leya), and her mother, Noeli Segura, his girlfriend, Melissa Lozano, his mother, Betsy Seedarnee, sister, Morgan Burton, half-sisters Siobhan Hunter and Dominee Worman, and half-brother, Andrew Seedarnee. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Seedarnee (1993), half-sister, Erica Seedarnee (2001), and grandmothers, Georgia Law (2004) and Nanji Seedarnee (2011).
Due to the Coronavirus, funeral services cannot be held to celebrate Trevor’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to a fund for Trevor’s daughter, Leya, which will be used to support her everyday costs for care. Donations can be made online at:
