Veda Ban Deda... you are so missed! I will cherish the many months you stayed with us from my teenage years to my twenties. I am so thankful for all you did to help Nana and the rest of the family. You were there through some of the toughest times during Nana’s dementia, completed Wilmington trips to see the great aunts/uncles with me, and saw me through the “awkward” years. I’ll never forget driving to Florida and back over two days with you in tow, oxygen and all to help us care for Nana during the day. Your infectious laugh, straight-forwardness, and “old-school” advice will always stick with me. Your volunteer work and always caring for the veterans will continue to inspire me. Enjoy endless morning grapefruits in heaven!
    Love you, Mandi

Sorry to hear about your passing. We knew each other since 2011 when we both started the same day volunteering at then Bert Fish Hospital. I understand you volunteered for over 3,000 hours during the nine years you were with the Auxiliary. Thank you for your years of volunteering and your work with feeding the homeless. Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear about Veda. We were classmates from K -12. My brother was a classmate of Dolores. A really nice person and a good family. We'll all miss her. Too bad she couldn't make the 50th reunion. It would have been great to see her.
