Obituary
Vicky Lynn Busch, age 54, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24th, 2019 at Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange.
Vicky was born June 21st, 1965 in Farmingdale, NY. She was a 1983 graduate of South High School in Valley Stream, NY. She furthered her education attending Nassau County Community College, Daytona Beach Community College, and finalized her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice while attending University of Central Florida. She left Long Island, NY for Florida at the age of 20 after falling in love with the beaches, river, and natural surroundings that Daytona had to offer. After spending 22 years serving the legal system, she left it to pursue her dream career in real estate. Vicky went on to work for over 10 years in realty for Exit Realty and Ocean Luxury Realty as a Real Estate Specialist. She absolutely loved the look of excitement and anticipation on people’s faces when they worked together to find their dream home. For her it wasn’t just a job, it was an opportunity to build a lifelong relationship with those people even long after the closing. Vicky truly lived her life loving everyone and everything around her. Vicky loved all things NASCAR, her favorite drivers to follow were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. Vicky had a love for the NFL, she was a diehard Miami Dolphins fan through thick and thin. Vicky had a love for all and was loved by the same. Her keen sense of humor, sense of understanding, and kind heart was always appreciated and will be missed dearly. She opened her heart and home to all and was one of the sweetest and loving people you could ever meet.
Vicky is survived by her father, Jack; her sister, Kerry; her half-brother, Jake; many loving family members, dear friends, and her cat Buddy, all of whom she treasured. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda M. Busch and her brother, Scott John Busch.
In keeping with Vicky’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. At her request, her ashes are to be spread on a later date at the beaches of Florida and Long Island, as well as the mountains of Colorado. Details to follow and all will be welcome to join. In the mean time, celebrate Vicky’s life amongst family and friends, tell stories, reminisce, and be happy as that’s what she would wish for us all.
