We have known Virgil & Susan for almost 14 years now. They were both there when my children were small. They were neighbors, then friends then family. Virgil used to help me with small repairs or car issues when I had no one else at the time. He convinced a 2 year old little girl (Niya) who hated meat to eat chicken legs that he grilled. To this day she loves meat. Something no one had been able to do. She thought the world of him. He played with her when all the boys left her out and made her giggle. He was her uncle Virgil. Then when my middle sone started showing signs of wanting to play ball, Virgil took the time to talk with him, encourge him and show him how to throw a baseball. Since I played softball I wasnt as much help, Besides uncle virgil was cooler. The years went by and all the kids grew up but the bonds didnt change. When I married my husband him and Virgil developed a bromance over cars and their sense of humor. We will miss him but his memory will love on. We love you Virgil.
