Virginia Juanita Mings Brown, 83, passed away on July 28, 2020 at her home in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was born on March 26, 1938 in Elkhorn. Kentucky to Tyler Mings and Laura Delray Sluder Mings.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, reading, and studying maps of the world. She loved everything about Elvis Presley. She went back to school to further her education in secretarial work. She worked at Cummins Engine in Columbus, Indiana.

Virginia Juanita Mings Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Tyler Mings and Laura Delray Sluder Mings, and her siblings, Elizabeth Cave of Kentucky, Naomi Mitchell, Edgar Mings, and Walter Mings, all of Indiana. She is survived by her children, Larry (Jan) Brown of Greenwood, Indiana, Michael (Paula) Brown of Crothersville, Indiana, Linda Brown of The Villages, Florida, and Becky (Wayne) Bunch of Columbus, Indiana. She also leaves to cherish her memory her 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and her sister, Barbara Green of Macon, Georgia.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in Indiana at a later date.
