Walter A. Niles, 78, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on January 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Adams, Massachusetts to the late Walter S. Niles and Florence E. (Rodda) Niles. Walter was a veteran of the Army National Guard and he worked as an Assembler at Lockheed Martin. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed riding his bike, and he loved hunting and fishing. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. Niles; his son, Steven A. Niles; his daughter Brenda M. Niles and her fiancé Shawn M. Steele; his brother-in-law, Ronald Whitmarsh and his wife Marilyn Whitmarsh; his brother-in-law, James Whitmarsh; his sister-in-law, Barbara Cousineau; his grandson, Dylan A. Munger; and many nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Niles; his brother-in-law, Richard Cousineau; and his sister-in-law; Dottie Whitmarsh. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Walter to the Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Ronald McDonald House. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Port Orange, Florida.
