Obituary
Warren C. Kerry
On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Warren C. Kerry, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 82. Warren was born on August 26, 1935 in Rochester, New York to Charles and Dorothea (Brown) Kerry. He received a degree in Economics from Purdue University and spent much of his career in the insurance industry, opening Kerry Insurance on Cape Cod in 1979. He married the love of his life and wife of 56 years, Prudence (Prudie) and they raised three children, Dorothea (Dee), Warren Scott, and Sylvia. Warren also had the distinction of being the best “Grandpa” in the world to his tribe: Amy, Charles, and Maxwell.
Warren was active on the Finance and other committees at Cloverleaf North and enjoyed golf, the Symphony at Peabody, the Daytona 500, and playing cards with friends. Warren was a remarkable man who persevered through both Leukemia and Esophageal Cancer but never let either define him or take away his zest for life. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was the voice of reason for many who trusted him.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elaine. In addition to his wife and children and grandchildren, Warren is survived by his loving sister Linda, sister in law Helen, brother John, and many nieces and nephews.
