Obituary

Wayne D. Theroux 67, a part time resident of Edgewater and Bayshore, NY died Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center, Edgewater.  Wayne was born October 13, 1941 in Jamicia, NY to Herman and Ann Theroux.  He was of the Catholic faith and went to St. Cyrils Catholic Church in Deer Park, NY.  Wayne loved Elvis, dancing and drawing.  He is survived by his niece's, Charlene Theroux of Bayshore, NY and Danielle Savastano of Edgewater, nephew, Jason Savastano of Bayshore, NY, niece, Lauren DarConte and her family, nephew's, Lyle and Noel Theroux and their families, and his brother, Herman Theroux of Spring Hill, FL.    Family will be having private services for Wayne at a later time

    Wayne, you were more than my uncle ! more than a friend. More than anything. I am in your house right now crying in my head wishing you were right there!! You're in the living room in a box ? I dont understand yesterday everyone went to the Blue Springs River and i left you alone.....but i sat in your Elvis chairr. Danielle rescued a new kitten Elvis, he's black and i figure she'd bought him home for you ! I miss you so much. And i love you so much. i hope your looking down at us and when you're we're praying no matter what. And your room will never be replaced. Its still the same how you had it :{ Now that i read this, tears are falling from my eyes right now :'{

    to my brother,a day dont go by i dont say your name and hope to here you say yes.im blessed to have you in my life and share laughter and calebration with you.now you left me in this life with pain and sorrow,but i no your in a better place dancing and singing like the king. i miss you and love you so much your brother jay............ps i know you got that job being a model and got a beautiful head of hair

    It was funny how Taylor always woke up in the morning & made you coffee with strawberry poptarts.
    Instead you were suppose to stay a week, but a month was BETTER! <3. You cleaned my room everyday & stuffed everything in my closet, but hey it's okay!
    Now you will always remember us in your dream & hearts.
    Same with us.

    Uncle Wayne.....you were such a great uncle to me!
    We had a lot of good times.
    And I cry every night wishing you were right there.
    It's so HARD being without you.....we ALL LOVE YOU!
    I hope your looking down & as the days go by I pray for you & our memories will NEVER fade away.
    I wish I was there on the last day to tell you goodbye.
