Obituary

Wilfredo Pagan loved to sing karaoke, entertain friends and family, watch his beloved Miami Dolphins but most of all he loved to spend time with his wife and children. He was blessed to have a large loving family. In 2007 he married the love of his life Beatriz (Betty) and welcomed 2 beautiful children. He was known as a man with a smile on his face that lit up a room. He made everyone around him welcomed with a kind word, a hug. or his personality that was larger than life. As quoted by one nephew “he brings peace to everyone around him due to his kindness”

Wilfredo is survived by his wife Beatriz Elena Pagan of Lehigh Acres, Son Esteban Armando Pagan of Lehigh Acres, daughter Abigail Olivia Pagan of Lehigh Acres, mother Ramona Pagan Torres of Lehigh Acres, 10 siblings, 6 brother in laws, 2 sister in laws, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and many special friends.

Wilfredo is predeceased by his father Gilberto Pagan on December 23rd, 1979.

    Freddy,

You were the absolute best. I couldn't have asked for a better patient. You taught me so much about life. I can't even begin to describe how amazing of a human you were. You were always making others laugh and smile; you had a unique presence about you that was unmatched. You had such a beautiful joy for life and loved interacting with people. You never wanted anyone to be sad or to go without. The amount of humanity, empathy, and love for others you had within you was unsurmountable. You were an advocate and a fighter. You pushed others to tend to their healthcare needs and you put your wife and children first, always. You showed up and were the best version of you at all times. I am blessed to have worked with you and to have known you. Myself and others have gained an Angel. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow, but I find peace in knowing you are no longer in pain. Like family to me, you will forever remain in my heart and memories. You will be missed very deeply, Fighting Freddy.

    With Love,

    Your Social Worker, Caring Catherine

What an amazing soul! I will never forget how we met as Wilfredo and Beatriz so lovingly reassured me that my husband was in good hands at the Moffitt Cancer Center. From their Betty & I became friends, alway encouraging each other as our husbands battled for their lives. Even after Wilfredo’s passing she encourages me to keep the faith during these difficult times. It has been an honor to have met Wilfredo that day as he was being so kind and offering me his seat as I waited for my husband. My prayers never ceased and I am honored to have been graced with his beautiful smile and amazing personality. Best of all sharing our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and knowing that this isn’t goodbye but see you later. Rest easy brother. To Beatriz and family may you find comfort in knowing Wilfredo was amazing and that he now rest in Gods presence with no more pain. He won the battle because Jesus won the War. May these upcoming days bring you guys peace and comfort with your friends & family.
