Obituary
William A. Blott Sr. (64), born April 12, 1952 in Youngstown, OH, passed away November 4, 2016. Willie was an Austintown, OH resident until 2010 when he and his wife moved to Port Orange, FL. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Blott, and his sister, Patty (Blott) Amon. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Diane (Thomas) Blott and their faithful companion Guiness; four children Marilee (Jeff) Modarelli, Bill (fiance Jamie Ciccone) Blott, Rebecca (Michael) Blakeman, and Jimmy Berry; nine grandchildren Zachary and Briannah Bancroft-Berry, Dylan and Antony Blott, Cassandra Blakeman, Joseph and Matthew Modarelli, and Jaci and Mikayla Berry; three brothers Mike (Robin) Blott, Bob Blott and Ed (Vicki) Blott ,and several nieces and nephews. Willie was retired from General Motors and spent his free time fishing. In Austintown he contributed his time to different local organizations. In Port Orange he spent time volunteering in his community, including serving on the board of the home owners association. His family appreciates his devoted team of doctors, Dr. Gerald Woodard, Dr. Dani Obeid, and Cancer Specialists Dr. Paul Dodd and Dr. Kap for going above and beyond in their efforts during his illness. The Blott family will celebrate Willie’s life in a private memorial service in Ohio. In lieu of flowers please make donations, in his name, to:
