Obituary

William Michael Allison (known as “Mike” to his friends and family) passed peacefully on October 31, 2021 surrounded by his four children. Mike was born on August 18, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri to William and Evelyn Allison.

He lived life in the fast lane of double black diamonds, race cars, and airplanes. Mike instilled a passion for music and theater in his family and never missed an opportunity to surround himself with music by Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, and Les Miserablés. When it came to getting his hands dirty, there was nowhere he’d rather be than under the hood of a car, but he’d never back down from a household project.

He was survived by his four children Stacey, Christian, Conner, and Nicole, his sister Jean (Greg), his brother Mark, his two grandchildren Jack and Sam, and dozens of lifelong friends. Mike is remembered as being brilliant, strong, witty, and gentle. We thank God every day for giving him to us, and that he chose a peaceful and painless way to “Bring Him Home”.

Mike had the best smile ever ! Whenever I saw him I always wanted to give him a hug and have a nice chat ! To say he loved and was proud of his kids is an understatement to say the least ! His face lit up at the mention of Christian, Conner and Nicole . Mike , you will be missed my friend ❤️
