Obituary
William (Bill) L. Boyce, 90,
passed away on Wednesday, September 30th in Port Orange, Florida.
He was born June 14, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to Ancle and Cora Boyce.
Bill is survived by his sons Jerry (Joyce) of Wadsworth Ohio, Mark (Barb Clawson) of Stow Ohio,
4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His brother, Tom (Sally) of Marco Island, Florida and his sister Pat (Bill deceased) Staats of Mogadore Ohio and his stepdaughter Linda (Michael) Remen of Port St. John, Florida.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte of Port Orange, Florida, his brother, Jerry Boyce (Toni deceased) Akron, Ohio, his sister, Mary Lee (Don deceased) Plueddemann Tallmadge, Ohio,
his stepdaughter Nancy (Gary) Miklic of Ft. Myers Florida, and his Stepson Gary L. Carter
of Marietta Georgia.
Bill served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady Of Hope Catholic Church. Bill was also a member of the Port Orange Eagles #4088, where he loved to Jitterbug.
He was an avid bowler and softball player on many leagues.
One of Bill’s loves was to build wooden rocking horses for children and give them away. His joy came from seeing their faces light up.
Bill will be buried in the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota Florida at a later date.
