Obituary
William (Bill) J. Breeding (71)
Bill passed peacefully at home on January 14, 2020 after battling a long illness. Bill is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Lis) for 42 years, his children – Kimberly Breeding of Clermont, Florida; Christopher Breeding (Jamie) of Mascotte, Florida; William (Kathy) of Pennsylvania; and Lisa Breeding Hillegass (Nathan) of Pennsylvania. Amazing “Pop” to his five beloved granddaughters – Lexie, Rylie, Kenzie, Karlie & Felicitie. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, the late Marie (McCormick) Jordan and his only grandson, Baby Boy Breeding.
Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA, moved to Clayton, Delaware in 1992 and eventually to Groveland, Florida in 2003. Bill was a Philadelphia Police Officer for 18 years until he became injured on duty. He worked as a baker at Golden Corral and a security guard at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, Delaware. He most recently worked as a bus driver for the Walt Disney Company until he became ill. He loved going out to eat, going to the theme parks and spending time with his family. He enjoyed listening to “The Oldies,” Harry Potter, fishing in the Delaware Bay, collecting Coke memorabilia, rooting for the Eagles, and playing cards and bingo. His presence will surely be missed by all, but we are left with many wonderful memories to share. He will be forever in our hearts.
We would like to give many thanks and huge appreciation to Dr. Shazia Nasir & Teresa Karcsmar, ARNP and their staff; Dr. Bao Huynh & Dr. Usman Lone and their staff; all of the staff at Clermont Dialysis Center. Thank you to the nurses and aides from VITAS Hospice Care who were so wonderful in caring for Bill and a great support to our family.
Services will be private and at the discretion of the family.
Donations in Bill’s memory would surely be appreciated by the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
