Obituary

William Jennings Bryan Jr., 90, of Fort Myers, passed away July 30, 2019 at Health Park Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers, FL. Born June 24, 1929 in Akron, OH., he was the son of William Jennings Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth Ferris Partin. Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. He later worked as an electronics salesman for numerous years before retiring. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy. Surviving are his wife Emogene and their children; Cheryl (Chuck) Bertison of Akron, OH., Bill (Carroll) Bryan, also of Akron, OH., Pam (Don) Eagle of Lehigh Acres, FL., Terry Bryan of Fort Myers, FL., and Keith Bryan of Akron, OH., along with many grandchildren. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.

    Grandpa, there's not a day that goes by I haven't thought of you. The weekends of shopping with you were always a blast, listening to kris Cross and vanilla ice when they first came out, those were memories made never to be forgotten. I love you so much......

    Everytime i look at this i still cant believe that your gone. Its hard to even say good bye cause its not a good bye i believe its a ill see you later cause i know that ill see you again i just dont know how long. I love you so much and i miss you But i bet you and John Wayne and Elvis are up there having a blast.

    I just wasnt ready to say Goodbye..you are the strongest person I've ever known Grampa thank you for loving me and always being there when I needed you.. I loved when I came to see you and you would ask "Are you lost"? My response every time was " If I am I came to the right place, let's eat I'm hungry".. Thank you for being the best for all of us.. I'm gonna miss your smile and your laugh... and you being the best pops a girl could ever ask for ..I'm gonna miss hearing how u seen this and how you done that....or how I'd ask how you was and you said " better now that you're here you made me not just feel loved but I knew I was loved every time you hugged me so tight and told me to stay strong xo ...now you get to meet the maker and enter those gates I do know I'll have the strongest, most loving angel watching out for me..I wish you didn't have to go, I wish you could stay forever but I know that's not how it goes..
