Obituary
William Buchanan Clark, Jr., age 94, passed away peacefully at The Estelle Hospice House on Friday, February 2, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on January 3, 1925. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Air Force as a Radar Bombardier Navigator on B-17 bombers. After the war he became an Executive Chef working in several prestigious hotels on Miami Beach including the Diplomat and the Fountainbleau. His passion’s in life were golf, cooking, his family and doing a daily crossword puzzle. He is survived by his lifelong partner of 40 years, Peggy Facente. Peggy’s Daughter and Son-in-Law Gina and Bill Hopgood; Three sons from Mary Lou Clark: Tom Clark and his wife Donna, Chris Clark and his wife Melissa and Tim Clark and his partner Catherina, Christine Clark, William Buchanan Clark II, Kathryn Jo Schmiedel; Stepdaughter, Susie Ritchie; Stepson, Michael Byokawski; 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to help the Veterans who have served our country. The family will be having a full military service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 12 noon. Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home Ocala, Florida.
Preceded in death by his son son William Buchanan, Jr II and
survived by his daughters Christine Grace Clark and her sister Kathryn Jo Schmiedel from his second marriage to Irene Becker Clark.
7 grandchildren (1 deceased) and 10 great grand children.
