Were it all started
Nanny and pops
Tattoo I got for my Papa. I’m sure he would’ve loved it.
Violets are blue,
You went away and left us blue,
With your great humor over the years we've shared trips and many a laugh with you,
So now we've shed a tear or two,
And had to write a poem to honor you,
Until we meet again one day,
These few words will have to do.
Thanks for all the wonderful memories!
Your Son

As a young man papa used to blow the horn and his Austin Healey.
As he got older we had to put the horn on to his cane.
Figured we should give everyone a warning when he came around.
Why worn them you ask? It’s because he was always horny.
Dad and I on vacation
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet
How about you?
You made us laugh
throughout the years,
And in your honor we
will spread good cheer.
We will get sad
from time to time,
But remembering to laugh
gives us peace of mind.
We love you Papa.
