Obituary
William “Bill” Owens Doyle, 75, of Leesburg, FL, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord on Friday, December 6, 2019.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Joseph & Anne Doyle, and siblings Father Thomas Doyle SM & Cathleen Doyle. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Robb-Wymore) Doyle; son Bryan (Bethany) Doyle; son John (Alexandra) Doyle; stepdaughter Jessica Robb; stepson Vladimir Andrejev; and grandson Luke Doyle.
The youngest of 3 children, Bill was born in the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard on June 17, 1944. After growing up in Long Island, NY, Bill graduated from Manhasset High School and went on to earn a B.A. from the University of Dayton in Ohio. A job opportunity with MetLife brought Bill to central Florida, where he also retired. Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, community volunteer, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, attending car shows, traveling, his faith, and helping others. Never shy with a kind word or funny story, Bill’s warm and loving presence will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church on December 12, 2019 at 11:00 am 720 12th Street Clermont, FL.
