Thank you for being the patriarch of our little family.......a role that you played so very well!
Always available for advice, a helping hand and one heck of a vacation planner! You constantly documented our many family outings/holidays with your camera. So very important as in the end, that is all you have......pictures and memories. I am so very thankful for every single one!
You were the very best Husband, Father, Father in law, Grandfather anyone could ask for and I do not know what our family outings & holidays are going to look like from here out, but I can say you will be sorely missed!
Not sure what to say upon hearing of the passing of such a special and unique individual, and a truly special friend. After talking to Chuck upon Bill’s death, I spent a great deal of time thinking of the many days and nights spent with Bill, and reflecting on his many adventures in his life; his many years of dedicated service and love for our country; his years at the Naval Academy, his many trips with the Love of His Life-Lorraine; his love of riding bikes; his allegiance and service to The Knights of Columbus, and how he truly accepted Lorrain’s family as his own (no “step anything” in that relationship-Chuck and Frank were his sons and he loved and treated them as such) and most of all-his unrelenting love for Laraine. He always treated her as a Queen, because in his life and mind, that is exactly how he thought of her.
Yes- Bill was a unique and almost unbelievable man who will be truly missed by all who knew him, and the many people who didn’t know him but benefitted from his many contributions to society as a whole.
Rest in Peace dear friend; God now has another dedicated servant by His side, and one who will serve Him well.
Thank you Bill for so many beautiful memories. The days spent together with you and. Lorraine. KOC..
Your family and friends spending..the new year's
Eve and later the Christmas get-togethers.
Golfing...traveling...
laughing and sharing so many wonderful memories around your kitchen table or ours after a day of golf. It was
never the golfing that was the important thing..
It was just being together. Friendship is such a wonderful thing..
but finding it later in life is a true blessing...

Little did we know when we met on that golf course 24 years ago, that we were in for the time of our lives.
Because of you we were able to live our lives with meaning and purpose. You packed our lives with excitement and happiness. What I will miss the most is the love you had for me. You were so good and so kind to me. (Actually you spoiled me) and I loved it.
Bill you are the love of my life and my hero. I miss you so much. Until we meet again , I love you forever.
For Lorraine - we share in the sadness, but also in the joy of celebrating Bill’s life. His giving, his love and dedication, and his selflessness.
Please lean on us as you need!
To Bill - without saying, save me a coke...classic not zero …and I’ll see ya one day at the “steel beach picnic” in the sky! You will be sorely missed, but always in our hearts and happy memories!
“Anchors Aweigh, my boys,
Anchors Aweigh.
Farewell to foreign shores,
We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay.
Through our last night ashore,
Drink to the foam,
Until we meet once more.
Here's wishing you a happy voyage home“
