Obituary

OBITUARY:

William J Johnson of Leesburg, FL (formally of Woburn, MA) passed away on Thursday, February 11th. The husband of Dianne (Cristaldi) Johnson, he was seventy-one years of age.

Born in Melrose, he was the son of the late William and Gladys (Martin) Johnson. He graduated from Woburn High School and worked as a technician for a medical device company for many years.

He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife and the foliage and spending time with his family and following the Boston sports teams.

Surviving in addition to his wife Dianne Johnson are two children, Erick Johnson of Everett, MA and Alex Johnson of Woburn, MA, a sister Eleanor DePerry of Leesburg, FL and his mother-in-law Ann Cristaldi of Leesburg, FL.

He was also the beloved grandfather of Evan Tetrault of Leesburg, FL.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, limited to family, will be held on Monday, February 22nd at 2 p.m. in the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1350 E Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32788. Calling hours, which are limited to family, are Monday, February 22nd from 1 to 2 p.m.
