Obituary

The father almighty gained another angel, Bill Krautler III, on Feb 26th after a grueling fight with Lung Cancer and COPD. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in February 1941 to William & Ruth Krautler, Bill had four siblings, Diane Ashelford, Glenn and Albert Briggs and Bonnie Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Bonnie, and is survived by his beautiful, loving wife of fifty years, Leigh, and their three sons Jim, Bill and Mark (Vineeta). Bill and Leigh have six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, that all adore them greatly.

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Bill attended church regularly and received an award as an Honored Acolyte in the Episcopal Church by the presiding Bishop. Bill was a member of many sports organizations throughout his youth, including football, baseball and many others. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington D.C., Bill joined the United States Navy where he was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary and National Defense medals for his role in the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. After the service Bill graduated from the University of Maryland and founded Krautler Personnel Recruitment which then became a top technical recruitment firm in the Washington DC area. He was listed in Who’s Who in America as well as many other top publications. Bill and family moved to Florida in 1991 where he founded KPR Internet Marketing which thrived as a top online marketing agency.

Bill enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, visiting five of the seven continents and sailing the high seas around the globe. He always had a kind word and laughter in his soul, and if given a microphone, he would sing all night to his beautiful bride. His sense of humor was unmatched and his warm heart never faltered. He will be missed dearly by everyone who has had the honor of knowing him.
