Obituary
William “Bucky” LaMotte (82) of Ocala Florida passed away on February 17 after a long battle with cancer. William, originally from Cherry Valley in Leicester, MA, was a devout Catholic whose faith only strengthened during his time of illness. William graduated from St. Peter’s High School in Worcester and Worcester Jr. College. He served honorably as a Staff Sargent in the Yankee Division of the Massachusetts National Guard, he was a member of the Finance Committee for the Town of East Brookfield where he raised his family, and was well respected in his trade as an industrial boiler service technician. He is survived by his wife Carole, daughter Nicole, son Michael (wife Tina), his youngest son Thomas, and sister Suzanne Dennison. His passing follows that of his parents William and Marjorie LaMotte as well as his brother, Arthur. He will be dearly missed for his robust humor and the booming laugh that accompanied it, gentle heart, and his steadfast and supportive presence.
I worked for my dad’s company JG Lamotte for 11years and saw Bucky mostly every day. Rest peacefully my friend
