Obituary

William Thomas Noonan, “Bill”, 58, of Tarpon Springs, FL passed away January 25, 2024 at his home in Tarpon Springs.  Born in West Babylon and raised in Lindenhurst, NY, he graduated from Lindenhurst High School and received his Associates Degree from University of FL.  He was preceded in death by his father Robert and brother, John.  Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Noonan, his mother Barbara and three brothers Robert Jr., Joseph and Christopher as well as 11 nieces and nephews.

Bill was a very good-hearted individual known for his wit and generosity.  Bill’s favorite phrase was “Trust Me” which he often said with a smile.  Bill was skilled in many areas of construction, but he was most proud of his position at Con Ed NY where he was a pipefitter.  Bill’s greatest love was for the multiple animals he rescued and adopted over the years.  His loss was sudden, but he will not be forgotten by the many lives he touched.  A private service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to your local animal rescue in Bill’s name.

One week ago today we lost you. They say only the good die young. I am beginning to believe that. We called you Bill and Billy; you liked William. You often said Trust Me with a smirk. But we could Trust YOU! You loved my kids as if they were your own. How often I heard “I want to go live with Uncle Bill n Aunt Mari”. I can’t thank you enough Bill for giving that feeling to my kids! You will be dearly missed. We will see you again my brother! ❤️❤️❤️

“Trust Me”. You will be missed my younger Brother #4. Until we meet again in paradise, I’ll drink a Guinness to you.
