I worked with Bill at Marcy Psych Ctr. I worked days and he came in for the evening shift. We had such laughs I could hardly get thru giving him report. He had a great sense of humor. He was a terrific nurse and my ward was always left in good hands when Bill was in charge. I hope his passing was easy and he will be missed by many at Marcy.

Our family was fortunate to have Bill visit us with Nanci. They came with enormous amounts of food for many years mainly to see my Mom who was in her 90's, giving her a lift that would last for days. He had a quiet kindness that shone thru along with a subtle wit. He told wonderful stories with such skill that you were never sure if it was a real life accounting or a joke. You would listen, waiting for the punch line but none came so you would relax and wham, with perfect timing there it would be and once again you were caught off-guard.
There was a strength and wisdom beneath the surface and you knew he always put others first. They don't make them any better than that.

I worked with Mr. Bush many years ago at Marcy Psychiatric Center before they closed. I was a Hill Float and would be assigned there if they were short. I always enjoyed talking and laughing with Bill. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed to party.I live up the road and would see him outside planting or weeding his garden with his partner, Nanci. He will be missed by many here as he was a kind man. I am sure he is telling jokes and already partying up in Heaven. My sincere condolences to Nanci and his family.

What a great guy, it was a privilege to be his friend. I'll never forget he and Nanci coming in to my store in Utica to buy ALL the gold flatware for their grapefruit picking parties. He will be missed by so many, our sincere condolences to Nanci and Bill's family. Bunny & Dave Landers

It is so sad to say good-bye to such a wonderful guy. We didn't see enough of each other because of our addresses, but he was our Facebook friend and we kept in touch that way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nanci and family as we will ALL miss his smile and humor. God bless

Bill was such a pleasure to have as a volunteer with our organization here in New Smyrna Beach. Accompanied by his wonderful wife Nanci, Bill always had a big smile on his face, a fantastic hat on his head, and a willingness to do whatever was needed. He will absolutely be missed - our many condolences to his family and friends.
