William Robert Exberger of The Villages, FL passed away on Nov. 23, 2020, at the age of 79.

William was born on June 5, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert John and Mary Louise (Wilcox) Exberger.  He graduated Richfield High School in Minneapolis, and completed courses at the University of Nebraska and the University of Akron.

William joined the Air Force in Jan 1960, and in 1964 received an Honorable Discharge.  He worked as an Systems Engineer for Honeywell, E-Systems, and Raytheon Corporations before retiring in 2001.  Following retirement he enjoyed traveling, woodcarving, and helping others.

In 1963 William married Janet Sue Casey of Falls City, NE in Lincoln, NE, and they had two children, Debra Ann of Knoxville, TN and David William of The Villages.

William is survived by his wife, Janet, of The Villages, his daughter Debra Ann of Knoxville, TN, and his son David William and wife Sherri of The Villages, as well as a sister, Linda Wing of Mpls, MN.

As per his wishes, no formal memorial service will be held.  His ashes will be inurned at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

Any memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in William’s name.
