Celebration of Life for Franklin Tyrie Miller, 89, New Smyrna Beach who died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 30 at First United Methodist Church New Smyrna Beach with The Reverend Don Bremer officiating.
Ty was born in Glencoe, Maryland and came to this area in 1996. He served in the US Navy during W W II. He retired after 45 years of service as a locomotive engineer with Pennsylvania Railroad, Conrail and Amtrack. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hidden Lakes Country Club and New Smyrna Beach Men’s Garden Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory a son Ty Miller of New Smyrna Beach, daughter Terry Jo Miller of Montrose, WV, brother Walter E Miller of Timonuin, MD, sister Elise Brown of Baltimore.
Memorials are requested to American Heart Assn 555 West Granada Ormond Beach FL 32174.
11:00 AM Thursday, April 30 at First United Methodist Church Palmetto Street New Smyrna Beach.
