Obituary
Zachary Edward William Blanke passed away peacefully at the age of 38 on April 22, 2021.
Zachary is survived by his loving mother and father, Shelley and Uco Blanke.
He is also survived by his sister, Natasha Blanke Eldridge, her husband Kyle Eldridge, his Aunt Francine and Uncle Tom and his cousin Nicole Regeness. He is also survived by many other cousins and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents Ruth and Joe Scopp, and Barbara and John Blanke and several loving friends, some gone way too soon.
Zachary Edward William Blanke was born on March 30,1983 in North Miami, Florida. He grew up in both North Miami Beach and Sunrise, Florida where he graduated from Western High and on Dec. 8, 2008 he graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Finance.
Zack worked in Florida as a lifeguard, swimming instructor for children, and insurance sales. He loved surfing, skate boarding, wake boarding, disk golf, music, playing guitar, dancing, reading, watching documentaries and movies. He loved making people laugh.
Zack moved to California where he lived and worked for three years in San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente pursuing his dream of surfing as much as possible. Surfing and music were his passions.
Zack was in very good spirits as he was planning a move to Cocoa Beach, Florida which he had been wanting to do for quite some time.
He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and sincere friend to so many. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving and compassionate soul.
The family would like to thank Casey Coote and friends for their joint efforts to make Zack’s final send-off take place.
A Celebration of Life for Zack will be held on May 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM on the 2nd floor (air conditioned), of the Inlet Grill in Sebastian Inlet State Park located at 9707 South Hwy A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951; with Zack’s Final Paddle-out beginning at 4:00PM. Anyone attending the services for Zack at the Inlet Grill please ask for the “Casey” party group.
Rest in Peace Zack. You will always be in our hearts and memories.
