Obituary
Zachary Gerald Wilhite was born May 14, 1984. He was born to F. Douglas Wilhite and Sherry Lynn Wilhite in Indianapolis, IN.
Zachary was a father to Aidan, a husband to Jamie, and a brother to Trisha, Kristen, Cassie, and Bridget. Zach was loved and adored by so many nieces and nephews; Vince, Mark, Ian, Gracie, Lily, Ella, Aubree, Jackson, Hezekiah, and JJ. Zachary was preceded in death by his brother Dougie and nephew Trent.
Zach loved his family. He was so proud of his son Aidan. According to Zach, Aidan was perfect from the day he was born. Aidan was loved unconditionally. Zach adored his momma. He was a momma’s boy. He worried about her and loved her more than words can express. He had a best friend in his dog, Joel. No one gave better hugs than Zach did. He wrapped his arms around you and always held you so tight. Zachary was a protector. There was not much he would not do if it meant the ones he loved felt safe and protected. He loved music. He often sent songs to the ones he loved. He was an amazing cook. He loved to cook. Zachary could fix just about anything.
Zachary became a home inspector when he moved back to Florida. He loved his work. He was a dedicated employee. His attention to detail made him a good inspector. He loved to train new people coming into the industry. His customer service skills set him apart. He was a hard worker.
Zachary was a good man. We are heartbroken that Zachary left this world at such a young age. The news of his passing shocked us all. Zach was happy. He had so much life left to live. Zachary was excited about the next season of life. Our hearts hurt so much. The texts and calls have stopped forever. He will never again send us a song or make us laugh. Zachary is so loved. He is so greatly missed.
We love you Zach. We miss you. The world was a better place when you were in it. Rest easy buddy.
