Obituary
Arthur F. Rindone passed away November 27,2015 at Bert Fish Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. After a short illness. Art was born April 10, 1945 to Blaise and Elizabeth Rindone (both deceased). He attended Grand Island Junior High School in New York and received his high school diploma in 1964 from Riverside High School in Buffalo, New York. He worked many years in New York for Pantry Pride. His journey in life brought him to New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Wanting to be a firefighter and EMT, Art completed all of the necessary requirements to become a firefighter and EMT and went to work for Daytona Beach International Airport from 1980 to 2003. He then retired, leaving his firefighter brothers Tim Maher of Deland, FL, Kevin Rawlins of Palm Coast, FL, and Robert Vining of Daytona Beach, FL.
He spent time after retirement having breakfast or lunch with his firefighter brothers. Art spent many hours volunteering for Drug Free Youth Thrift Store. He always believed that children deserved a chance for a good education. Art could fix anything, and he met so many wonderful people over the years. Art’s passion was fishing with his sons on the Mosquito Lagoon for Red Fish or Trout and having a fish fry with family and friends.
Art leaves behind to mourn his loss three sons: .Justin Rindone (Elise) of Edgewater, Fl., Tarik Rindone of Edgewater, FL, and Ryan Rindone of Edgewater, Fl. Also three daughters: Sarah Horvath, Bridgit Rindone Hinman, and Rebecca Clayback, all of New York. His brothers Liborio Rindone (Randee) of Delray, Fl., Robert Rindone (Sue) of Hollywood, Fl., and Blaise Rindone (deceased). Sisters .Jenny Harris (Danny) of Rushford, New York, Elizabeth Rindone of Hallandale Beach, FL, Maureen Hemby (deceased) and Bertha Rindone of Florida. Also, his precious granddaughter Tyra Rose Rindone of Jacksonville, FL, many nieces and nephews, and his longtime loving partner Janet Cole of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
