Dick and Marbeth had an epic love story and marriage of 67 years. Their devotion to each other only grew as the years passed.
In spite of an extremely successful business career, Dick always had time to have fun with family and friends.
He was never far from a golf course, in Scotland, Canada or Florida and made many lifelong friends who shared this passion. In his earlier years he was also an extremely proficient tennis player, rugby player, swimmer and skier.
Dad served in World War Two with the British Navy. He was a highly respected pilot with the Fleet Air Arm, where he was involved in international action.
Dick’s family acknowledges the warm and dignified care provided to him by the staff of the Halifax Health Hospice.
We also thank Mum and Dad’s friends for the kind messages of support that we have been receiving.
