Obituary
Susan Gail Sawyer, 55, of South Daytona, Florida, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on August 7, 2016 at the Halifax Health Hospice Port Orange Care Center. She was born on May 19, 1961 in Tampa, Florida. Susan work as a Home Health Care Provider for special needs patients and she was a member of the WWCA. She enjoyed crafts, kayaking, was a really great gift wrapper, and a great shell collector. She also enjoyed going to the Flea Market. Susan worked at the Hilton Hotel as the only female maintenance worker for years. She also worked at several nursing homes as an activities director, where she loved caring for people. Susan is survived by her mother, Betty Lou Millburn; her step-father, Michael L. Millburn; her two sons, Christopher Lee Sawyer and Sean Wade Sawyer; her granddaughter, Madison Sawyer; her grandson Christopher Lee Sawyer Jr.; her grandson, Robert Sawyer; her grandson, Caleb Sawyer; her brother, William C. Thatcher; her sister, Deborah K. Thatcher; her brother, Stephen D. Thatcher; and her niece, Tiffany Kemp-Hicks; Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremations, Port Orange, FL.
