Obituary
Marilyn (Nita) Shaffer Pendleton, 74, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on January 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1942 in Decatur, Georgia to the late Hermas and Maggie Jo (Mosley) Williams. Marilyn worked at the La Paloma Bowling Alley and she retired as a Waitress/Bartender from Red Lobster. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, shopping, and she loved to entertain and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, James E. Pendleton; her son, Karl Shaffer; her daughter, Karla Shaffer Hightower; her daughter, Karrie Rogers; her five grandchildren, Kayla Rogers, Brendon Rogers, Garth Hightower, Ronna Hightower and Marilyn Hightower; and her 7 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Port Orange, Florida.
