Obituary
Conny Lee Birchfield, 77, of Cape Coral, passed away June 28, 2019 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, FL. Born April 8, 1942 in Wenatchee, WA., he was the son of Conny Columbus Birchfield and Willa Mae Holcomb.
Conny grew up in Yakima, WA working with his Mom and Dad tending to various fruit orchards. As an adult, Conny was known by his friends and family as an incredible entrepreneur. For nearly 20 years of his life, Conny owned and operated several businesses. A few included The Clark County Auction in Vancouver, WA and the King County Auction in Bothel, WA and then went on to be an inventor of a snagless fishing sinker.
Conny’s favorite passion was sharing music with his friends, especially Elvis Presley’s music. Conny also shared a passion for the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
Conny had 4 sons, 1 daughter and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of Conny’s life will be held at Sportsman’s Park in Yakima on August 6th at 2 pm, with a gathering of immediate family to be held at the Birchfield Manor Inn in Yakima, WA, immediately following.
