Judith May Collette, 79 years of age of Ocala, Florida, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2019.
Judith was born on June 21, 1940 to her parents Leon and Hazal in Hanover, New Hampshire. Growing up she worked at the restaurant that her parents owned while attending school. Judith was talented and outgoing, and as a young woman she entered and won a beauty contest. She was beautiful both inside and out. She was also very talented. Judith loved to sing, and play the guitar. When she was in the 11th grade Judith sang on stage at the Grand Ole Opry with “Tennessee” Ernie Ford and Mr. Tub. This was one of her proudest moments!
Judith met and married her husband Les, and her singing took a backseat to raising a family. She was blessed to become the mother to 6 children. She raised 4 daughters, 2 sons and was very proud of her family. Throughout her life Judith lived in New Hampshire, Fort Meyers Florida, Carson City Nevada, and McIntosh, Florida.
Judith was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for over 50 years. She loved teaching others about the Bible. She was proud to live as a modest woman taking her strength from the word of the Bible.
