Obituary
Joseph C. Crowley, 89, of Ocala, FL began his new journey on August 2, 2019. He was born in Toledo OH to the late Cornelius and Florence (Krause) Crowley raised of Catholic faith. Joseph was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. In 1956 he then went on to work for Western Union in Telecommunications, retiring with AT&T in 1996. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Moose Club. He enjoyed riding his two motorcycles, playing golf and sailing. He also did a lot of traveling and visited family along the way. He is survived by his 3 children, Margaret Crowley of St. Louis, MO, James (Carolyn) Crowley of Peoria, IL and Jean Crowley of St. Louis, MO.; brothers, Jack and Cornelius Crowley. He is also survived by one grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary (William) Taylor and brother, James P. Crowley. Graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513) on Monday, August 19th at 1PM. He was a strong man who loved his children and his family. He had many friends along his journey and he will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
