Obituary
Wayne Anthony Griffith (nickname, Juice) passed away on December 7, 2019 at the age of 57. Born on March 28, 1962 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He was the son of Leslie A. Griffith and Irma V. Heimgaertner (Spinks).
Wayne was a very kind, loving, energetic person and he enjoyed sports, biking, driving, music, dancing and was a very good cook. He loved swimming and could always be found at the beach. He loved his family very much and enjoyed having fun with his nieces and nephews. He moved to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago at a young age. He had a business mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit and owned two businesses when he lived in Chicago. He also worked as an independent contractor for Direct TV. Wayne was a dedicated and dependable employee, and as a driver, enjoyed serving people and had a strong stamina for long trips.
Wayne always stayed in touch with family and friends by phone, text and visiting them. He loved family get togethers. He was fun to be with and had a great sense of humor. He had an enormous giving heart and always willing to help if you have a need.
He is survived by his mother Irma Heimgaertner (Spinks) of Lehigh Acres, FL; his sister Yvette (Jeffery) Stewart of Racine, WI; his brothers Lincoln (Cynthia) Griffith of Lehigh Acres, FL; Hugh (Lucita) Griffith of Racine, WI and Kyle (Ayana) Griffith of Hollis, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie A. Griffith.
