By late 1966 he knew he wanted to start his career in photogrammetry, resigned his commission and accepted a position with New York State. After retirement from NY, his career continued in Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. Over the years Norm’s community services include, little league coach, Boy Scoutmaster, member Stockport Planning Board, delivering Meals on Wheels, and more recently chairing the ARC committee of his neighborhood’s HOA board. Norm has served in many positions on church boards, as well as teaching Sunday School, choir, and organist. Norm was a past-president of the Daytona Beach Chapter of Sons of the Revolution. Most recently he has enjoyed as many of his grandchildren’s activities as possible. A true gentleman, Norm has always tried to live a life reflecting God’s love.
