Obituary
Clifford Lee Hembree went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021 after suffering from complications of COVID-19. Clifford was born on December 11, 1949 in Middletown, Ohio to parents James Hembree and Ester Wyatt Hembree.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Constance T. Hembree of Lady Lake, Florida; daughters, Kimberly Hill (David), and Mistina Cox (Charles), sons, Calvin Harpe (Cindy) and Travis Hembree; grandchildren, Chelsea Hill(Nick), Sarah Hill(Clay), Carly Shafer(Tim), Tristan Kelley, Tyler Hembree, Chloe Hembree, Trevor Hembree and Kenny Cox; great grandsons, Bryce Haught and Owen Gehring; brothers Bradly Hembree and Mark Hembree and sister Golda Lorayne Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lorrie Leforce and his first wife, Phyllis Hembree.
Clifford joined the Navy after high school and served during the Vietnam era. He was a machinist by trade, working for several companies in the Middletown, Ohio area. He was a Godly man and an active member of Central Baptist Church of Ocala. He was also a member of the DAV color guard. Clifford was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. Many referred to him as a Gentle Giant.
A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church of Ocala. 1714 South East 36th Ave. Ocala, Florida 34471 on Saturday February 13th, 2021 at 1:00. A separate memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
Andrea and I will miss Cliff. Of course, Cliff is more alive now than he ever was! Our prayers are with you and the family.
