Obituary
Robert M. Dufrense of Sorreto Florida passed away on February 20,2021 surrounded by his family, after battling cancer for 15 months.
The son of the late George Dufrense and Mary (English) Dufresne as well as his brother Ronnie Dufresne.
He is survived by his long time girlfriend Carol Wallace of Sorrento Florida, his brother; Paul Dufresne of Rumford RI; his 3 daughters;
Heather Skowron of Griswold CT; Melissa ScottoDiUccio of Sorrento Florida; Dawn Wallace of Pawtucket RI.
Robert had 3 grandchildren; Caitlyn; Tyler; and Conner whom were the light of his life. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and and nephews
Robert was longtime Autobody Painter and a avid antique car enthusiast, his true passion was restoring his 1980 El Camino
in which he put his heart and soul into. After restoration was complete he traveled to every antique car show he could find to show off his pride and joy,
during these shows he made friends with a group of other car show enthusiast and they traveled all over RI and even to Lake George New York.
His car show days did not end when he retired to Florida, he continued to show off his special ” pearl” that is where he met more amazing friends
he could share his passion with. Anyone who knew Robert (bobby) AKA Ducky AKA Buffa to his many friends, can tell you how special he was.
To know Robert was to love him, he made friends where ever he went, from his easy going personality to his willingness to help everyone out,
he was truly one of a kind.
Robert will be cremated and his remains will be brought back home to RI to be buried with his parents in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket RI
