Obituary

On January 4, 2022, our heavenly father welcomed a kind and gentle angel. Jacqueline Rita Barlow (Langlais, Ingham) passed peacefully, in Lady Lake, FL, at the age of 94. She was born in Haverhill, MA, on August 8, 1927, to Lillian (Miron) and Elmer Langlais. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s parochial school and Haverhill High School.

She leaves behind her two loving children, son Richard Gregory Ingham and his wife Susan of Lady Lake, FL, and daughter Joanne (Ingham) and her husband William Hall of Cheshire, CT. She is also survived by her five adoring grandchildren, Renee Fragola, Rachel Muli, Sarah Bunick, Christopher Ingham, and Michael Law, four great-grandsons, and by many nieces and nephews.

Jackie is predeceased by her first husband Arthur Ingham, second husband Richard Barlow, and is now reunited with her nine siblings, Alice Bond, Beatrice Welcome, Donald Langlais, Elsworth Langlais, Alma Partellow, Pauline Baker, Elmer Langlais, Florence Hamilton, Rita Bonin, and her beloved puppy Bonnie Bluebell Barlow. She is survived by her sister Priscilla Levasseur.

Jackie, who is affectionately known as Meme, raised her family with love and devotion in Haverhill, MA. She worked for the Visiting Nurse Association and then dedicated 36 years to Western Electric before retiring.

To know her was to love her. She was selfless and willing to help anyone who needed it. Family meant the world to her. Meme’s hugs were tight and full of love. She was the life of the party and the heart of our family. She was especially gifted in the art of spoiling dogs and babies.

Her services will be held at a later date in the spring. Because Jackie was such a deeply spiritual and generous woman, in lieu of flowers, friends and family wishing to honor her are invited to make a donation in her name to their local church, children’s hospital, or animal shelter.  Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-480-5959.  Sentiments may be left online at www.baldwincremation.com.
