Obituary
Rodolfo Gary Duke, 75, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born December 27, 1946 in El Salvador to the late Mauricio Duke Rojas and Noemi Chavez Duke. Rodolfo was a retired medical doctor.
He was a dedicated member of the Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día in North Fort Myers. Rodolfo enjoyed cruising, traveling, watching soccer and football.
Surviving are: his wife, Maria Elena Avendano Duke of Cape Coral; children, Juan Edgardo Ortiz Avendano of Lake Mary, FL, Dr. Gullermo Antonio Ortiz Avendano of Pittsboro, NC, Rodolfo Gary Duke and Rodolfo Gered Duke, both of Cape Coral, FL, Roxana Georgina Duke-Afong of Miami, FL, Patricia Veronica Bedard of Clermont, FL and Ronald Gustavo Duke of Cape Coral, FL.; fifteen grandchildren.
Rodolfo loved life, loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He married his soulmate, his best friend, his confidant. He loved her dearly. He was devoted fearing man of God.
As a friend, the best you could ask for, always a good ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, a wise word. Rodolfo never spoke foul of anyone and was always ready to pray for anyone. He was a role model for young and old and a spiritual guide to anyone that needed it.
The family will be present for a time of visitation and a service from 12 noon to 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, 701 Camellia Dr., North Fort Myers
