Obituary
Olivia Merle Reynolds, née Evans, born August 17th 1949, originally from Holywell in Wales and resident of Parrish, Florida, passed away in Tidewell hospice, Lakewood Ranch, on June 22nd, 2022 at age 72 after a long and brave battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by Andrew, her husband of 50 years, son Daniel, sister Lynn, brother-in-law Manny Simpson as well as nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew.
A long time resident of River Wilderness she was loved by many in her roles as president of “The Bad Girls” book club and her former role as secretary of the RW Art Association. She spent many years before retiring, as an office manager for a variety of companies from transportation to manufacturers of health and beauty aids as well as children’s toys. She also worked, in the seventies, for the British Civil Service attached to the military.
Her many activities included reading and travelling and she was an avid crossword and candy crush player.
Olivia’s wish was to be cremated and her ashes to be scattered in Colwyn Bay, Wales
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Club at River Wilderness on Sunday, July 17th, from 2pm – 4pm
So glad to have seen you and Andrew together fairly recently when we came to Florida. Your positive attitude and friendship were infectious, and your strength these last 3 years truly unparalleled. Sarah and I will always cherish our time together both before and after your latest chapter in Florida. You are now at peace after a full, rewarding and accomplished life well lived. May we be so fortunate to exit this life as true fighters like you were.
God Bless
Steve and Sarah
